This device comprises a profile (1) which is symmetrical relative to a longitudinal plane, having the general shape of an I, the base of which is equipped with a cavity (3) having an opening (4) facing downwards, of a width which is less than that of the cavity and connected to the top part (6) comprising two opposite branches (7,7') by means of a core (5), the outer part of the opposite branches complementing 2 longitudinal grooves (12,12') made in the rigid and insulating edges (11) of the panels to be assembled. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un dispositif de fixation et d'assemblage de panneaux rectangulaires. Ce dispositif comporte un profil (1) symétrique par rapport à un plan longitudinal, ayant la forme générale d'un I, dont la base est munie d'une cavité (3) présentant une ouverture (4) dirigée vers le bas, de largeur inférieure à celle de la cavité et reliée à la partie supérieure (6) comportant deux branches opposées (7;7') par une âme (5), la partie externe des branches opposées étant complémentaire de 2 rainures longitudinales (12,12') pratiquées dans les chants rigides et isolants (11) des panneaux à assembler.
