[origin: US4718261A] A safety armature for a cylinder having a key aperture or keyway, comprises a safety element which is in the form of a magnetically encodeable closure which can be opened by a magnetically coded disk and, which, in its locked position, covers the key aperture or keyway. The magnetically codeable closure may either be a magnetically encodeable padlock having a steel shackle which is held between guide disks of a guide element on the safety armature, or a solidly mounted mounting with a slide unit which is movable on the mounting and that can be latched by means of the magnetically encodeable enclosure.

Es soll ein Sicherheitsbeschlag für ein Türschloß, insbes. Zylinderschloß, mit einem Sicherungselement 2 für den Schließkanal 3 geschaffen werden, um Manipulationen durch Einführen von Fremdkörpern oder Klebstoff in den Schließkanal 3 zu verhindern, wodurch das Türschloß unbrauchbar würde. Die Erfindung sieht vor, daß das Sicherungselement 2 als magnetisch codierbarer Verschluß 4 ausgebildet ist, der in der Schließstellung die Öffnung des Schließkanals 3 unzugänglich verdeckt und mechanisch verriegelt ist und der nach magnetischer Entriegelung mit einer an die Codierseite 8 des Verschlusses 4 angelegten codierten Magnetplatte 7 in die Offenstellung bewegbar ist und die Öffnung des Schließkanals 3 freigibt.
