[origin: EP0214117A2] In the container, the parts consisting of corrugated carton, such as walls (16, 17), bottom (15), lid (21), are connected by means of plug-in connection with, as is known per se, side walls (1) made of special material, in that the essentially rectangular tabs (18, 19, 20), having a spacing from the corners of the side walls, of the corrugated carton parts are inserted in cutouts (10 to 14) which correspond to the dimensions of the tabs and accordingly end in front of the corners of the front wall. The cutouts are formed on the one hand by edge regions of the front walls and, on the other hand, by strips (3, 4, 5) largely covering the tabs. The bottom (15) and/or the side parts (1) can be connected to a pallet.
