[origin: EP0214122A2] The fastening device has several hooking-in devices (D) which are arranged successively and attached to a band (C). At one end of the band there is also a hook (A). When bundling objects using such a band (for example sack openings, rolled-up electric cables or ropes, strips of wood) these hooking-in devices (D) are distributed around the circumference of the object to be bundled and that hooking-in device (D) which has come to rest nearest to the hook (A) can then be hooked directly in under tensile stress. This arrangement saves the user such time-consuming actions as stitching, threading loops or correcting tension and thus the work required is rationalised. In the opening operation, this fastening device also allows rapid access and thus fast readiness for use of the bundled objects. <IMAGE>
