[origin: JPS6256580A] PURPOSE:To obtain a chromating soln. having superior deterioration resistance by adding specified amounts of chromic acid, tervalent Cr ions, phosphate ions and zirconium fluoride ions in specified weight ratios. CONSTITUTION:An acidic soln. contg. 10-100g/l chromic acid, 1-21g/l tervalent Cr ions, 0.1-4g/l phosphate ions and 0.1-4g/l zirconium fluoride ions is used as a chromating soln. for a galvanized steel sheet. In the soln., the weight ratio of sexivalent Cr ions/tervalent Cr ions is 1.5/1-5/1, that of chromic acid/ zirconium fluoride ions is 5/1-100/1 and that of phosphate ions/zirconium fluoride ions is 1/2-2/1.
