Abstract (en)
[origin: WO8605376A1] The apparatus is used to remove fibrous, mossy, cork-containing, sticky organic residues and natural mosses adhering to the surface soil or to any flat soil surface or to walls, which surfaces are in need of treatment. The invention consists of a manual tool utilizing a flexible straight blade (1) or a curved blade or a broom or scraper, mounted so as to be mobile or immobile on an angular support (18) connected with a handle (2) ending in a hand grip in the form of a T (3), together with a system to control the flow of liquids by pinching a flexible tube (4), connected at one end with a container (5) for liquids, and at the other with a liquid spreading ramp (6) situated behind the blade (1) or broom or scraper. Two rollers (27) or a runner (28) may be arranged under the handle so as to facilitate the tool's displacement. If a broom is used, lateral rollers may be mounted at mid-level to the tickness of the broom or on springs in order to avoid crushing the bristles, to maintain the efficiency of the kneading and scraping ations and to facilitate movement. Likewise, when the blade, the scraper or the broom is removed from the apparatus, the latter can be used to spread liquids. A rotary mechanical alternative embodiment is also disclosed.
