A device for spray-coating walls with a layer (1) of a settable mixture of binding agent, coating material and liquid, comprising a pressure line (3) for supplying the mixture to be sprayed on, from the end (4) whereof, which is directed towards and movable over the wall, the mixture emerges on to the wall (2), wherein a shuttering-like supporting surface (5) for the layer (1) to be sprayed on is provided at a distance from the wall (2) corresponding to the thickness of the layer (1) to be sprayed on, which surface is movable to follow the movements of the outlet end (4) of the pressure line (3), and wherein the supporting surface (5) comprises a strand of an endless, flexible shuttering skin (7) running around at least two spaced-apart guide members (6) that face the wall (2) and run over the sprayed-on layer (1), characterised in that a support member (9) is associated with the strand of flexible shuttering skin (7) forming the supporting surface (5) on the side remote from the sprayed-on layer (1), and that the support member (9) is formed as a vibratory member acting through the supporting surface (5) on the sprayed-on layer (1).
