The safety lock has a housing (1) receiving a lock cylinder and an approximately central recess (9) for a rotational movement of a key bit (15). To increase the degree of safety against break-in, the recess (9) extends essentially only in the cylindrical housing part (2), and the housing (1) has a cross-sectional weakening (26) as a predetermined breaking point at at least one of its ends. Sicherheitsschloß mit einem Gehäuse (l) zur Aufnahme eines Schließzylinders und mit einer etwa mittigen Ausnehmung (9) für eine Drehbewegung eines Schließbarts (l5). Zur Erhöung der Einbruchssicherheit erstreckt sich die Ausnehmung (9) im wesentlichen nur im zylindrischen Gehäuseteil (2) und das Gehäuse (l) hat an wenigstens einem seiner Enden eine Querschnittsschwächung (26) als Sollbruchstelle. Der Schließbart ist ein- und ausfahrbar gestaltet.
