[origin: US4691931A] Propelling roller skate comprising a selector on which the pedal is articulated and which is adapted to be placed in two positions: a propulsion position and a braking position. The selector is articulated on the brake device which also carries the shaft of the propulsion lever. The brake device is itself adapted to turn about the drive shaft of the driving wheels. The selector carries a stop finger carrying a brake stop and a propulsion stop cooperating respectively with the brake device and with the propulsion device to prevent the movement which does not correspond to the position selected.

Patin à roulettes propulseur comportant un sélecteur (26) sur lequel est articulée la pédale (21), susceptible d'être positionné dans deux positions: une de propulsion et une de freinage. Le sélecteur est articulé sur le dispositif de freinage (36) qui porte également l'axe (56) du levier de propulsion (57). Le dispositif de freinage est lui-même susceptible de tourner autour de l'axe d'entraînement (16) des roues motrices (11, 12). Le sélecteur porte un doigt à butées (33) portant une butée de freinage (35) et une butée de propulsion (34) coopérant respectivement avec le dispositif de freinage (36) et avec le dispositif de propulsion (57) pour empêcher le mouvement ne correspondant pas à la sélection choisie.
