Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0216316A2] The invention relates to a process for the intermittent or continuous low-emission preparation of a bituminous mixture 5 by the use of a usually high proportion of granular asphalt 2 from broken-up or cut-off road covering layers which are supplemented by heated additives 1, fillers 3 and bitumen 4 in a mixer 8 to form a recycled composite material 5, a temperature synchronisation of the individual fractions being necessary. The additives 1 are usually heated in a drum dryer fired in counterflow and the broken granulate in a drum dryer fired in co-flow. The dwell time of the additives and the granulates is determined by an appropriate adjustment of the drum inclination. <IMAGE>
