Abstract (en)
A cutter for a hand-held power tool has a blade (80) and a cutting knife edge (77, 79) part (79) at least of which lies at the root (78) of the blade and faces away from the stem (75) of the cutter by means of which the latter is mounted on the tool. The cutter may have two blades (9l) forming the limbs of a U, the roots of the limbs forming the base of the U. The cutter is reciprocated by the tool during use and the part of the knife edge lies substantially at right angles to the direction of reciprocation to effect cutting of a sheet of material.
