1. A device for arresting a door (2) mounted to pivot on a body (4) of a motor vehicle, comprising on the one hand an arm (1) which is fitted with at least one arresting face (16) and on the other hand two rollers (5, 6) mounted to rotate on a support (3) fixed to the door (2), characterised in that one of the rollers (6) is mounted on a lever (9) adapted to pivot about an axis (91) which is subject to a return spring (7) which seeks to apply the said rollers (5, 6) to the arms (1) in such a way that they roll thereon, the said movable roller (6) engaging into the said face (16) to keep the door in the open position, the device comprising means (92) of manually tilting the roller carrier lever (9) in order to move the movable roller (6) away from the arm (1).

La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif d'arrêt de porte montée pivotante sur une caisse (4) de véhicule automobile, comprenant d'une part un bras (1) muni d'au moins un cran d'arrêt (16) et d'autre part deux galets (5, 6) montés rotatifs sur un support (3) fixé à la porte (2), l'un des galets (6) étant monté sur un levier (9) pivotant autour d'un axe (91) soumis à un ressort de rappel (7) tendant à appuyer lesdits galets (5, 6) sur le bras (1) de manière qu'ils roulent sur celui-ci, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte des moyens (92) pour faire basculer de manière manuelle le levier (9) porte-galet.
