Abstract (en)
A safety window crank for the interior space, primarily of private cars, consists of a rotating knob (1) on the actual crank arm (2) and connecting parts (3,4,5) for the window-raising elements in the region behind the respective door trim. The free-wheel locking mechanism (6,7), which can be pivoted by an actuating member (9) by being pulled out in the direction of the arrow (R1), has a smooth and a toothed side (6b, 6a), and ensures that, when the smooth side (6b) is in contact with the toothed wheel (4), no torque is transmitted from the crank arm (2) to the centre pin (5). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Sicherheits-Fensterkurbel für den Innenraum vornehmlich von Personenkraftwagen besteht aus einem Drehknopf (1) am eigentlichen Kurbelarm (2) und Anschlußteilen (3, 4, 5) für die Fensterhubelemente im Bereich hinter der jeweiligen Türverkleidung. Das über ein Betätigungsglied (9) durch Herausziehen in Pfeilrichtung (R1) verschwenkbares Freilaufgesperre (6, 7) mit glatter sowie gezahnter Seite (6b, 6a) sorgt dafür, daß bei Anlage der glatten Seite (6b) am Zahnkranz (4) keine Drehmomentenübertragung vom Kurbelarm (2) auf den Steckzapfen (5) erfolgt.
