[origin: US4758017A] A safety ski binding including a sole plate pivotally supported on a ski-fixed pivot pin in a horizontal plane, however, is secured against lifting off from the ski. A front jaw is provided on the sole plate at its front end and a heel holder at its rear end. A housing is provided and includes a sole holder pivotally supported for movement about a transversely extending axle against the force of at least one spring and which carries a roller loaded by a further spring on a control lever. The roller is associated with a curved surface mounted on a ski-fixed member and controlling the lateral pivoting of the sole plate, whereby one of the springs is nested coaxially into the other in the housing and the housing is secured on the sole plate extension members.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Sicherheitsskibindung mit einer in einer Horizontalebene schwenkbaren Sohlenplatte, die an ihrem vorderen Ende einen Vorderbacken und an ihrem hinteren Ende einen Fersenhalter trägt, dessen Sohlenhalter gegen Federkraft um eine Querachse nach oben verschwenkbar ist und der an einem Steuerhebel eine von einer weiteren Feder belastete Rolle trägt, welche einer Steuerkurve zugeordnet ist. Um bei einer derartigen Sicherheitsskibindung die Montage und den Aufbau zu vereinfachen, sieht die Erfindung vor, daß im Gehäuse (6) an einer Querachse (14) ein Zwischenglied (19) angelenkt ist, das im Bereich seines unteren Endes eine weitere Querachse (21) trägt, auf der ein federbelasteter Zwischenhebel (22) gelagert ist, welcher gegen eine an der Innenseite des Sohlenhalters (15) vorgesehenen weiteren Steuerkurve (18) abgestützte Rastschwinge (23) gedrückt wird.
