A ski boot comprising a shell made of semi-rigid material and consisting of a lower portion (1) incorporating the sole and surrounding the wearer's foot and of at least one upper portion (2, 3) pivoted to said lower portion about a transverse axis (4), so that said upper portion can be inclined forwards, a resilient member disposed between said upper pivoting portion and said lower portion of the shell so as to exert an elastic resistance against the forward inclination of the upper portion (2), wherein said resilient member consists of at least one elongated element (10, 11; 32) adapted to yield transversely, adjustment means (13; 40; 50) being provided for modifying at will the length of the portion of said transversely yielding portion of said elongated element.
