[origin: US4690297A] There is provided a tin lid for use with cans of oblong shape in Hansa format, which includes in its lid image section a tear-open portion defined by a self-contained recessed line capable of being broken up at one end of the lid by means of a pull-open ring attached to this end. At the other end, said recessed line includes a straight recessed line portion which extends in chordal-type fashion with respect to the core wall shaped like an arc of a circle and which is positioned perpendicular and symmetrically to the longitudinal lid center line and is further connected with the other recessed line components through an also chordal-type or polygonal recessed line connecting portion. This tear-open portion area defined by the polygonal arrangement of the recessed line, above all, is stiffened by a group of like and completely uniformly distributed beads, which are further associated with the chordal-type recessed line portion in predetermined manner, to so ensure the tear-open portion's final separation from the remaining lid section virtually without any remarkable capacity of the lid image section to undergo spring movement itself.

Es ist ein Blechdeckel für langovale Dosen im Hansa-Format vorgesehen, der in seinem Deckelspiegel einen Aufreißbereich (6) aufweist, der durch eine in sich geschlossene Kerblinie (7) begrenzt ist, die an einem Ende des Deckels durch eine dort befestigte Grifflasche (5) eingebrochen werden kann. Am anderen Ende weist die Kerblinie einen geradlinigen, zu der kreisbogenförmigen Kernwand sehnenförmig verlaufenden Kerblinienabschnitt (11) auf, der senkrecht und symmetrisch zur Längsmittellinie des Deckels angeordnet ist und über eine ebenfalls sehnenförmige oder polygonale Verbindungskerblinie (12 und 13) mit den übrigen Teilen der Kerblinie verbunden ist. Dieser, durch die polygonale Anordnung der Kerblinien begrenzte Bereich des Aufreißteils ist vor allem durch eine Gruppe von gleichen und völlig gleichförmig verteilten und in bestimmter Weise dem sehnenförmigen Kerblinienabschnitt zugeordneten Sicken (25a-25d) so versteift, daß ein endgültiges Abtrennen des Aufreißteils vom übrigen Deckelspiegel praktisch ohne nennenswertes Rückfederungsvermögen des Deckelspiegels selbst sichergestellt ist.
