This chair is of the type comprising a base support (P), a seat (A) articulated on this base support about a first shaft (X-X), a back (D) articulated on the seat about a second shaft (Y-Y), parallel to the first, and a leg rest (R) also articulated on the seat about at least one shaft (44, 46) parallel to the two others, actuating means being provided in order to be able to adjust independently the position of the seat, of the back and of the leg rest. It is characterised, especially, in that it comprises a mechanism (21-24) for immobilising the seat relative to the base support, a spring (32) which is adjustable and ensures the return of the back relative to the seat, and an actuating and blocking ram (51), controlled manually, interposed between the seat and the leg rest in order to fix the position of the latter relative to the seat, as desired. <IMAGE>

Ce siège est du type comprenant un piètement (P), une assise (A) articulée sur ce piètement autour d'un premier axe (X-X), un dossier (D) articulé sur l'assisse autour d'un deuxième axe (Y-Y) parallèle au premier, et un respose-jambes (R) également articulé sur l'assise autour d'au moins un axe (44, 46) parallèle aux deux autres, des moyens d'actionnement étant prévus pour pouvoir régler de façon indépendante la position de l'assise, du dossier et du repose-jambes. Il est caractérisé, notamment, en ce qu'il comporte un mécanisme (21-24) de freinage de l'assise par rapport au piètement, un ressort (32) de caractéristique réglable assurant le rappel du dossier par rapport à l'assise, et un vérin (51) d'actionnement et de blocage, à commande manuelle, interposé entre l'assise et le repose-jambes, pour fixer à volonté la position de ce dernier par rapport à l'assise.
