[origin: WO8606016A1] A device for mounting bearings by welding comprising a housing (6) with a cavity (7) for receiving a bearing (1) as well as means (9) for keeping the bearing in place in the cavity. The housing (6) is made of weldable material and includes a central, hub like part (10) in which the cavity (7) for receiving the bearing is located, as well as an endless wall (11) projecting from the hub part said wall having a marked axial extent in order to locate a free end (12), that is distant from the hub part, at a marked distance from an edge (15) of said wall connected to the hub part so as to prevent the deforming thermal stresses, that are generated when said free end of the wall is welded, from reaching the hub part and the bearing located therein.

Le dispositif pour monter des paliers par soudage comprend un logement (6) avec une cavité (7) destinée à recevoir un palier (1) ainsi que des éléments (9) pour maintenir le palier en place dans la cavité. Le logement (6) est fait en matière soudable et comprend une partie centrale (10) ressemblant à un moyeu, dans laquelle est située la cavité (7) destinée à recevoir le palier, ainsi qu'une paroi (11) sans fin qui dépasse de la partie moyeu; ladite paroi possède une partie axiale marquée qui permet de placer une extrémité libre (12), qui est éloignée de la partie moyeu, à une distance marquée par rapport à un bord (15) de ladite paroi relié à la partie moyeu, de façon à empêcher les contraintes thermiques déformantes, qui sont créées lorsque ladite extrémité libre de la paroi est soudée, d'atteindre la partie moyeu et le palier qui s'y trouve.
