1. Transport and storage device for radioactive material, consisting of a cylindrical container of steel, concrete or cast iron, with a closed shell and a frontsided opening, sealable by means of a cover, whereby the frontsided opening of the cover can be pressed against the frontside of the shell whilst a marginal edge of the cover is covered by a collar made from the shell, wherein radial openings are provided over the periphery, which openings lie oppositely arranged recesses, characterised in that the recesses (19) narrow conically towards the centre of the cover (7), into which conical pins (23), placed in the openings (22) of the collar (6), can be pressed.

Die Transport- und Lagervorrichtung für radioaktive Stoffe besteht aus einem zylinderförmigen Behälter, dessen stirnseitige Öffnung durch einen Deckel (7) verschließbar ist. Ein Kragen (6) aus einem die Ummantelung (1) außenseitig verkleidenden Stahlblech (3) deckt eine Stirnfläche des Deckels (7) ab. Öffnungen (22) im Kragen (6) fluchten mit radial ausgerichteten Aussparungen (19) innerhalb von Einsätzen (17), die im Stahlbeton (8) des Deckels (7) eingegossen sind. Die Aussparungen (19) sind zum Zentrum des Deckels (7) hin konisch verengt und dienen zur Aufnahme von über die Durchbrüche (22) im Kragen (6) einpreßbaren, gleichfalls konischen Zapfen (23). Durch diese wird der Deckel (7) fest mit dem Behälter verbunden, ohne daß hierzu weitere Mittel erforderlich sind.
