[origin: US4776480A] The invention applies to a waste-paper basket having a detachable tub for receiving litter held against a support column by a hook-and-bolt system. According to the invention, the support column (2) has towards its upper part (2) an element forming a tub-cover (2) completely solid with an elongated central beam essentially vertical in its position of use. The invention applies in particular to a basket intended to be used at a fixed site in the street to receive litter tossed away by passersby.

L'invention s'applique à une corbeille à papier comportant une cuve amovible de réception des déchets maintenue en appui contre un montant-support par un système d'accrochage et de verrouillage. Selon l'invention, le montant-support (1) comprend vers sa partie supérieure (11) un élément formant couvre-cuve (2) solidaire d'un seul tenant d'une poutre (3) centrale allongée sensiblement verticale en position d'utilisation. L'invention s'appliqe, notamment, à une corbeille destinée à être utilisée, à poste fixe dans les rues, pour recevoir les déchets jetés par les passants.
