The device consists of a water box and expansion chamber (14) for a heat exchanger which is cast as a monobloc in a single piece. The water box (16) is in a generally vertical position in the heat exchanger, while the expansion chamber (18) extends horizontally above the water box (16) and the bank of pipes (10) in the heat exchanger. Application particularly to the radiators of the cooling circuits in the engines of motor vehicles. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un dispositif de boîte à eau et de vase d'expansion (14) pour un échangeur de chaleur, qui est monobloc moulé en une seule pièce et dans lequel la boîte à eau (16) est à disposition générale verticale tandis que le vase d'expansion (18) s'étend horizontalement, au-dessus de la boîte à eau (16) et du faisceau (10) de l'échangeur de chaleur. L'invention s'applique en particulier aux radiateurs des circuits de refroidissement des moteurs de véhicules automobiles.
