1. A bell-type furnace comprising an insulating bell mounted on a sole, in which the bell (10) comprises a roof (11) carried by a jack lifting device (30-34) and a leteral wall (12) suspended on the roof (11) by means of ties (3) provided with stops (6) so that the roof (11) can be raised in relation to the lateral wall (12) to engage an upper peripheral opening (40) for evacuation of heat and so that the lateral wall (12) can then be lifted up by the roof (11) and raised in relation to the sole (20) for engaging a lower peripheral opening (50) for the introduction of fresh air to the inside of the furnace housing.

La cloche du four comprend un toit (11) reposant sur un dispositif d'élévation à vérins (30-34) et une paroi latérale (12) suspendue au toit (11) au moyen de tirants (3) munis de butées (6) de manière que le toit (11) puisse être soulevé par rapport à la paroi latérale (12) pour évacuer la chaleur et de manière que la paroi latérale (12) puisse ensuite être entraînée par le toit (11) et être soulevée par rapport à la sole (20) afin de ménager une ouverture périphérique inférieure pour l'introduction d'air frais.
