[origin: WO8606106A1] The protection layer (3, 4, 5) applied to a receiver object (1) by a vacuum plasma projection process comprises an adherence layer (3), an intermediate layer (4) and a coating layer (5). In order to enable a universal application of the protection, particularly in the construction of turbines, foundry and nuclear technique, the adherence layer (3) is made of a selected material having a composition and a thermal expansion coefficient close to those of the material of the object to be coated (1). The intermediate layer (4) is comprised of a mixture of the material of the adherence layer (3) and of that of the coating layer (5) and the coating layer is comprised of a thick layer of sprayed material selected in the group of borides, carbides, nitrides and oxides of preferably TiB2 or Al2O3.

La couche de protection (3, 4, 5) appliquée à un objet récepteur (1) par un procédé de projection de plasma sous vide comporte une couche d'adhérence (3), une couche intermédiaire (4) et une couche de revêtement (5). Afin de permettre une application universelle de la protection, notamment dans la construction des turbines, la fonderie et la technique nucléaire, la couche d'adhérence (3) est choisie dans un matériau ayant une composition et un coefficient de dilatation thermique proches de ceux du matériau de l'objet à recouvrir (1). La couche intermédiaire (4) se compose d'un mélange de matériau de la couche d'adhérence (3) et de la couche de revêtement (5) et la couche de revêtement est constituée par une couche épaisse pulvérisée d'un matériau choisi dans le groupe des borures, carbures, nitrures et oxydes de préférence du TiB2 ou AL2O3.
