The invention relates to a device and method for collecting a predetermined number of sheets. Hitherto, the state of the art has worked with horizontal slides which have had to be moved to and fro, thus leading to considerable time losses in the extremely rapid intermittent mode of operation. The invention affords a remedy for this in that it provides two wing-like sections or turnstiles which are mounted rotatably at a distance from one another at the exit of a first station and which are equipped with a synchronous drive for a uniform oppositely-directed rotational movement, thereby making an intermittent transfer of sheets from the first station to a second station possible. <IMAGE>

Bisher hat der Stand der Technik mit horizontalen Schiebern gearbeitet, die hin- und herbewegt werden mußten, was bei dem extrem schnellen taktweisen Arbeiten zu erheblichen Zeitverlusten führt. Die Vorrichtung (10) schafft hier Abhilfe, indem sie zwei flügelartige Profile bzw. Drehkreuze (12) vorsieht, die am Ausgang einer ersten Station beabstandet voneinander drehbar gelagert und mit einem synchronen Antrieb (14) zur gleichmäßigen, entgegengesetzten Drehbewegung (16) versehen sind, wodurch eine taktweise Überführung von Zuschnitten (15) von der ersten (I) zu einer zweiten Station (II) ermöglicht wird.
