Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0219696A2] The plastic hollow body, in particular a blown bottle, has rib-shaped feet in the bottom region. The bottom of the bottle is curved inwards spherically in its central portion 3 and merges into an outwardly curved annular portion 4. The feet are separated from one another by deepening grooves 1 which extend outwards radially from the central point of the central portion 3. They extend over the entire annular portion 4 and end in its transition into the cylindrical shell 5 of the bottle. The deepening grooves 1 have approximately the same width over their entire length and may have a semicircular or rectangular cross-section. <IMAGE>
