Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0219773A2] The sun-protecting device has a web-like shading cloth (1) which is guided on both sides by means of guide tubes (2) on the outside of an object to be shaded and which can be pulled out to the particular shading length desired. Each guide tube has two guide grooves (21) which open on opposite sides and extend in the longitudinal direction of the tube and in which guide members (51) provided at the sides of the shading cloth can be guided. Holding elements (4, 8) are provided on the guide tubes. The guide tube has two assembly grooves (22) which open on opposite sides and extend in the longitudinal direction of the tube and which have an essentially T-shaped groove cross-section, the groove orifice (23) of which is narrower than the groove bottom (24). The holding elements are screwed to the guide tubes, specifically by means of hammer-head screws (27), of which the essentially rectangular screwheads (28), elongate as seen in a top view, can, in a rotary insertion position, be moved through the groove orifice and be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the groove and, in a rotary clamping position rotated approximately 90 DEG relative to this, are in clamping engagement with the side walls of the groove bottom, the threaded part projecting from the assembly groove. <IMAGE>
