[origin: US4793062A] A hand-held device for removing plaster from walls includes a housing provided with a single handgrip and two tool-supports oscillatorily movable in counter directions by two pneumatically or hydraulically actuated cylinder-piston units and carrying shaving tools. A pressure medium source and a control equipment for the cylinder-piston units is positioned outside of the device and remote from the same.

Die Vorrichtung zum Abtragen von Putz weist ein mit einem einzigen, zentral angeordneten Handgriff (12) versehenes Gehäuse (10) auf, in welchem zwei mit einer pneumatisch oder hydraulisch betätigbaren Zylinder/Kolben-Anordnung gekoppelte Werkzeugträger (23, 24) geradlinig gegenläufig zueinander oszillierend angeordnet und jeweils mit Schabwerkzeugen (26) bestückt sind. Die Druckmittelquelle und zugehörige, die Bewegung der Antriebsorgane (13 - 16) steuernde Ventileinrichtungen sind entfernt vom Gehäuse (10) der kompakt und gewichtsarm ausgebildeten Vorrichtung angeordnet.
