[origin: WO8606615A1] Calving device consisting of a support (5) which encompasses the whole of the rear end of the animal and a forked piece (6) hinged to this which extends into a pole along which a lever mechanism (1) slides. Ropes are attached to the hooves of the calf and the cow is helped by pulling on the calf with the lever mechanism (9) during the contractions.
