Abstract (en)
[origin: US4692033A] A timepiece includes an outer caseband 3 formed entirely in one piece of a hard material which likewise includes a hub member 4 providing the timepiece dial, and a metallic inner caseband 16. An annular step 10 for positioning and glue fastening a crystal 9 surrounds the hub member. This arrangement gives the hard material the rigidity necessary to resist forces acting thereon during manufacture and subsequently when the watch is worn.

Cette pièce d'horlogerie comporte une carrure extérieure (3) et une carrure intérieure (16) en métal. La carrure extérieure est d'un seul tenant avec une pièce (2) en un matériau dur qui comporte également un voile (4) formant le cadran de la pièce d'horlogerie. Autour du voile (4) sont prévus des moyens (8) de positionnement et de fixation par collage d'une glace (9). Cette disposition confère à la pièce en matériau dur la rigidité nécessaire pour résister aux sollicitations qui lui sont imposées tant pendant la fabrication qu'au porter.
