The dispenser for viscous materials, in particular toothpaste, has a piston (13), which is arranged displaceably in a dispenser housing (10), moves in the direction of a discharge valve (12) during dispensing and is blocked in the opposite direction by a barrier (clamping module 11), and a pushbutton actuation surface (14) which is provided on a head piece (15) of the dispenser housing (10), which head piece can be compressed in the manner of a bellows, the discharge valve (12) arranged on the head piece (15) opening under the pressure arising in the dispenser housing (10) due to the compression of the bellows-type head piece (15). For easier production and handling of the dispenser and for the purpose of a defined discharge of viscous material, the discharge valve (12) has a closure flap (16) which is linked (link 23) as an integral component of the head piece (15) on only one side of the discharge opening (17) in such a way that it releases the discharge opening (17) in the event of pressure in the dispenser housing, but otherwise closes said discharge opening. <IMAGE>

Spender für pastöse Massen, insbesondere Zahnpasta, mit in einem Spendergehäuse (10) verschieblich angeordneten, bei der Spenderentleerung in Richtung eines Abgabeventils (12) wandernden, in Gegenrichtung von einem Gesperre (Klemmodul 11) blockierten Kolben (13), und einer Drucktasten-Betätigungsfläche (14), die an einem balgartig zusammendrückbaren Kopfstück (15) des Spendergehäuses (10) vorgesehen ist, wobei das am Kopfstück (15) angeordnete Abgabeventil (12) bei durch Zusammendrücken des balgartigen Kopfstückes (15) im Spendergehäuse (10) entstehendem Überdruck öffnet. Zur erleichterten Herstellung, Handhabung des Spenders sowie zum Zwecke eines definierteren Austrags von pastöser Masse, weist das Abgabeventil (12) einen Schließlappen (16) auf, der als integraler Bestandteil des Kopfstückes (15) an nur einer Seite der Abgabeöffnung (17) angelenkt (Anlenkung 23) ist derart, daß er bei Überdruck im Spendergehäuse die Abgabeöffnung (17) freigibt, im übrigen jedoch verschließt.
