Abstract (en)
1. A device for the motorized opening and closing of a door, intended more particularly for a door having two pivoting leaves (1, 2) and including, to operate each leaf, a "tubular" electric motor (15) mounted along the vertical pivotal axis (16) of the leaf (1, 2) and housed in the upper portion of a hollow lateral vertical element (6) of the leaf, the stator of the motor (15) being rigid with the upper pivot (3) of the leaf (1, 2), whilst its rotor is rotatably connected to the element (6) of the leaf by means of a speed reduction gear and drive shaft (19), characterized in that the drive shaft (19) of the or each leaf (1, 2), the axis of which shaft coincides with the vertical pivotal axis (16) of the leaf, is coupled to the element (6) of the leaf by way of "cam" type means (23) which, on the one hand, ensures a rotary connection between the drive shaft (19) and the leaf (1, 2), when the latter is free to pivot about the aforementioned axis (16), and which, on the other hand, is adapted to transform the rotational movement of the drive shaft (19) into a vertical translational movement of the relevant element (6) of the leaf (1, 2), when the latter is prevented from pivoting.

Le dispositif comporte, pour actionner chaque vantail (1), un moto-réducteur électrique (15) monté suivant l'axe de pivotement (16) du vantail, à l'intérieur d'un montant latéral (6) de ce vantail. L'arbre de sortie (19) du moto-réducteur (15) porte des galets (21), qui coopèrent avec des doubles rampes inclinées (25) appartenant à une pièce (231 solidaire du montant (6). La liaison ainsi réalisée permet l'entraînement en rotation du vantail (1) lorsquc celui-ci est libre de pivoter, et elle provoque un déplacement vertical limité du vantail quand ce dernier est empêché de pivoter par la présence d'un obstacle, tel qu'une butée, sur son passage.
