[origin: US4760873A] A rolling shutter for being pivotably mounted on a roof window. The rolling shutter is provided with an apron, a shaft on which the apron is wound and from which it is unwound, another shaft for winding and unwinding the apron, a guide located between the two shafts, and a damping element; the damping element serves to maintain the rolling shutter in the position to which it is pivoted. The guide reverses the winding direction of the apron between the two shafts.

Un volet roulant pour fenêtre de toiture comprenant, disposé au-delà du chant supérieur (23) de la traverse supérieure (24) du cadre dormant (2) de la fenêtre de toiture (1), un caisson (16) présentant un fond (21) situé en-dessous du dessus (7) du cadre dormant (2) et pivotant autour d'un axe de rotation (30), situé au coin inférieur (31) de son extrémité supérieure (32) et placé en amont de l'arbre d'enroulement et/ou de déroulement (36), et renfermant des moyens de guidage forcé (49), intercalés entre l'arbre d'enroulement et/ou de déroulement (36) et l'arbre d'entraînement (37), impliquant au tablier (8), entre ces deux arbres (36,37), un inversement du sens d'enroulement du tablier (8) sur l'arbre d'enroulement et/ou de déroulement (36) et un cadre dormant (6), relié par des pattes (29) aux longerons (28) du cadre dormant (2) de la fenêtre de toiture (1) et pourvu de moyens amortisseurs (60) situés à l'extrémité inférieure (61) des rails de guidage latéral (13).
