In dosing and mixing equipment for producing a moulding-sand mixture of moulding sand and binding agents, which equipment consists of a moulding-sand container (2), a sand-metering device (3), at least one device for adding precise quantities of binding agent, a mixing drum (4) driven by an electric motor and having rotating stirring blades and a mixing-drum discharge for the finished moulding-sand mixture, the moulding-sand container, sand-metering device, mixing drum and mixing-drum drive motor are arranged in vertical alignment in a cupboard-like frame (1) enclosing all parts, and a receiving cabinet (6) for the binding-agent adding device is provided which can be placed against the frame and whose width dimensions are essentially the same as, but preferably exceed, the width dimensions of the frame at the attachment point. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Dosier- und Mischvorrichtung zum Herstellen eines Formsandgemisches aus Formsand und Bindemitteln bestehend aus einem Formsandbehälter(2), einer Sandzumeßvorrichtung,(3) wenigstens einer Vorrichtung zur Zugabe abgemessener Bindemittelmengen, einer durch einen Elektromotor angetriebenen Mischtrommel(4) mit umlaufenden Rührschaufeln und einem Mischtrommelaustrag für das fertige Formsandgemisch sind Formsandbehälter, Sandzumeßvorrichtung, Mischtrommel und Mischtrommelantriebsmotor in vertikal fluchtender Anordnung in einem alle Teile umschließenden schrankartigen Rahmen(1) angeordnet und es ist ein Aufnahmeschrank(6) für die Bindemittelzugabevorrichtung vorgesehen, der an den Rahmen ansetzbar ist und dessen Breitenabmessungen den Breitenabmessungen des Rahmens an der Ansatzstelle im wesentlichen gleich sind, sie aber vorzugsweise überschreiten.
