[origin: EP0222379A2] A device for spraying coating products has a source for the manufacture of free-flowing coating products, generally a liquefying device for a hot-melt-type adhesive, a first line for feeding the free-flowing coating product from the source to a spray head, a second line for feeding the spray gas to the spray head and finally a blocking element in the gas line. By means of a bypass which bypasses the blocking element, a small amount of gas flows constantly to the spray head so that when this spray device is switched on the two blocking elements for gas and hot-melt-type adhesive can be opened at the same time, that is to say virtually at the same time as the switching on, hot-melt-type adhesive emerges from the spray head. <IMAGE>
