[origin: WO8703308A1] The fibrous material to be spun is placed as a sliver before the drafting equipment (2) and undergoes in the drafting equipment a pre-drawing and a main drawing. During its drawing, the sliver (10) is condensed to a minimum width equal to at least about 1,5 diameters of the twisting device. After being thus condensed, the sliver is no longer condensed until it is twisted, and its diameter is maintained while it is twisted. The width of the condenser (24) before the main drafting zone corresponds to at least about 1,5 diameters of the pneumatic twisting device (9). The latter has the same diameter in its injection section (3) as well as in its twisting section (4), from its inlet to its outlet. Soft and hairy yarn (11), similar to ring curled yarn, is thus obtained.

Das zu verspinnende Fasermaterial wird einem Streckwerk (2) als Faserband vorgelegt und im Streckwerk einem Vorverzug und einem Hauptverzug unterworfen. Während des Verzuges wird das Faserband (10) auf eine minimale Breite zusammengefaßt, die wenigstens etwa das 1,5-fache des Durchmessers der Drallvorrichtung beträgt. Nach dieser Zusammenfassung unterliegt das Faserband keiner weiteren Zusammenfassung, bevor die Drallerteilung unter Beibehaltung dieses Durchmessers erfolgt. Hierbei entspricht die Breite des Verdichters (24) vor dem Hauptverzugsfeld mindestens etwa dem 1,5-fachen Durchmesser der pneumatischen Drallvorrichtung (9). Diese weist sowohl im Injektorteil (3) als auch im Drallteil (4) von ihrer Eintrittsöffnung bis zur Austrittsöffnung den gleichen Durchmesser auf. Auf dise Weise werden ringgarnähnliche haarige und weiche Garne (11) erzeugt.
