[origin: EP0223038A1] In a sensing head for ultrasonic examination in DELTA technology, transmitter (1) and receiver (2) are enclosed in a common housing (30). Their vibrator carriers (4,7) exhibit several vibrator segments (8-11) which can be individually activated via switching elements (35).
