[origin: EP0223700A1] The studs (3) of the shoe are retractable against the action of at least one elastic member (6) calibrated in order to yield to the pressure of the foot on a hard surface and to resist the reaction of the "green". Protuberances are formed projecting under the outsole (1) as far as the level reached by the studs (3) in the retracted position. Each retractable stud (3) comprises a tapped base (8) mounted through the outsole (1), fixed to the latter and delimiting a housing (21) via which at least one elastic element (26) is accessible, the tapped base interacting with a threaded plug (13) having a screwing collar (14) forming a guide (16) in translation for the actual stud (18) which is equipped with a projecting foot (20) located in the housing. <IMAGE>
