[origin: EP0223764A2] The water closet comprises a syphon located in the extension of the pan, connected to a chamber in which the screw of an electric expulsion pump operates. Usefully, this chamber is in the form of a syphon such that the periphery of the screw is always under water, particularly if it is not of the self-starting type. Water is supplied to the pan by means of a Venturi-effect conduit which prevents delivery of the water even if the pan is totally filled. The expulsion pump comprises a branch conduit fixed onto the expulsion conduit, the latter being closed off by an inspection port. <IMAGE>
