[origin: WO8607231A1] There is disclosed a woven, non-woven or knitted textile material based on monofilaments of natural or synthetic polymers, graphite fibres or metal fibres. The surface presents asperities of which the sizes are comprised between one eighth and five times the wave-length of visible light. The material attenuates by more than 20 dB the plane electromagnetic radiation between 10 kHz and 30 GHz. The direct current surface resistance is lower than 2000 Ohm per surface unit. The material may be used to combine its anti-dazzle, antistatic properties and as an electromagnetic radiation screen particularly in optical displays, windows, fans, etc...

Il s'agit d'un textile tissé, non-tissé ou tricoté formé de monofilaments à base de polymères synthétiques ou naturels, en graphite ou en métal. La surface présente des aspérités dont les dimensions sont comprises entre un huitième et cinq fois la longueur d'onde de la lumière visible. Le matériau atténue de plus de 20 dB le rayonnement électromagnétique plan entre 10 kHz et 30 GHz. La résistance au courant continu de surface est inférieure à 2000 Ohm par unité de surface. Le matériau peut être utilisé pour combiner ses propriétés antiéblouissantes, antistatiques et comme écran électromagnétique notamment pour l'affichage optique, les fenêtres, les ventilateurs, etc.
