[origin: WO8607135A1] The crossbow comprises a support (2) provided with an arrow guiding groove and a string (4) stretched by a bow (3). A bending device (19, 22) enables to set the crossbow in a shooting position. Said device comprises a lever (19) articulated to the support (2) and a pusher (22) pivoted on the lever and co-operating with a slide (14) connected to the string (4). A longitudinal groove (11, 26) is provided at the middle of the upper side of the support (2) and is intended to house the bending device (19, 22) when at rest.

L'arbalète comprend un arbrier (2) muni d'une rainure de guidage du trait et une corde (4) bandée par un arc (3). Un dispositif de bandage (19, 22) permet de mettre l'arbalète en position de tir. Ce dispositif comprend un levier (19) articulé à l'arbrier (2) et un poussoir (22) pivotant sur le levier et coopérant avec un glissoir (14) relié à la corde (4). Une rainure longitudinale (11, 26) est ménagée au milieu du côté supérieur de l'arbrier (2) pour y loger le dispositif de bandage (19, 22) en position de repos.
