Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8607135A1] The crossbow comprises a support (2) provided with an arrow guiding groove and a string (4) stretched by a bow (3). A bending device (19, 22) enables to set the crossbow in a shooting position. Said device comprises a lever (19) articulated to the support (2) and a pusher (22) pivoted on the lever and co-operating with a slide (14) connected to the string (4). A longitudinal groove (11, 26) is provided at the middle of the upper side of the support (2) and is intended to house the bending device (19, 22) when at rest.
