Abstract (en)
The method uses pressure and heat to bond preforms of thermoplastic material to preforms of reinforcing fibrous material. The preforms (3, 4) are pressed together under a pressure of between 1 and 200 bar and at a temperature above the melting point of the thermoplastic preform (4). During this process, the viscous thermoplastic preforms (4) impregnate the reinforcing fibre preforms (3). <IMAGE>

Bei dem Verfahren zur Herstellung von Bauteilen aus faserverstärkten Thermoplasten mittels Thermoplast-Vorformlingen und Verstärkungsfaser-Vorformlingen werden die Vorformlinge durch Druck und Wärme miteinander verbunden. Die Vorformlinge (3, 4) werden bei einem Druck zwischen 1 und 200 bar und einer über der Schmelztemperatur des Thermoplast-Vorformlings (4) liegenden Temperatur zusammengepreßt. Dabei durchtränken die schmelzflüssigen Thermoplast-Vorformlinge (4) die Verstärkungsfaser-Vorformlinge (3).
