[origin: EP0224180A2] The crossed-arm window lifter has a bearing structure (20), on which is mounted an input shaft (22) connected to an input gear (24, 26), via which a first adjusting arm (28) likewise mounted on the bearing structure (20) in a first joint (30) can be driven. This adjusting arm is connected in terms of synchronised movement to a second adjusting arm (32) via an intermediate gear (36). Each pivoting arm (28, 32) has in its free end region a roller (38, 40) which engages into a guide rail (42, 44) connected to the window pane to be actuated. The connecting line between the two joints (30, 34) is not parallel to the connecting line of the rollers (46, 48), but is at a set angle alpha to this. The intermediate gear (36) is a rolling-cam gear, especially a rolling-cam toothed gear. <IMAGE>
