<SD0 ABE> The invention relates to such a process involving separation of cellulose and lignin or lignin-like materials in which the fibrous plant material is treated with an extraction fluid consisting for the most part of one or more C1 - C4 alcohols, if necessary with the addition of up to 80% of water by weight. The treatment takes place at temperatures of 150 DEG C to 250 DEG C and pressures of 10 bar to 50 bar over a period of from 20 minutes to 120 minutes in one or more stages. Before commencement of the extraction, the fibrous plant material is impregnated with a fluid which similarly consists of one or more C1 - C4 alcohols, the impregnation being carried out using a pulsating pressure process.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Zellstoff aus Pflanzenfasermaterial durch Trennung von Zellulose und Lignin bzw. ligninartigen Stoffen, bei welchem das Pflanzenfasermaterial mit einer Extraktionsflüssigkeit behandelt wird, die im wesentlichen durch einen oder mehrere C1- bis C4-Alkohole, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von bis zu 80 Gew.-% Wasser, gebildet ist. Die Behandlung erfolgt bei Temperaturen von 150°C bis 250°C und Drücken von 10 bar bis 50 bar, während eines Zeitraumes von 20 min bis 120 min in einer oder mehreren Stufen. Dabei wird das Pflanzenfasermaterial vor dem Beginn der Extraktion mit einer Flüssigkeit, die im wesentlichen gleichfalls durch einen oder mehrere C1- bis C4-Alkohole gebildet ist, imprägniert, wobei die Imprägnierung mittels eines pulsierenden Druckverfahrens vorgenommen wird.
