[origin: WO8606105A1] A process for the manufacture of wear resistant binding materials on a solid substrate such as steel, hard alloys, aluminium or titanium. A volatile compound of the hard alloy-forming metal is converted in a recipient (12) with the introduction of energy and applied to the substrate as a wear resistant coating. The feeding of energy is effected at least partially by means of a plasma-CVD-process. Oxygen-containing compounds of hard alloy-forming metals are particularly suited for this purpose. The reaction can occur at low temperature in a spectrum ranging from room temperature to 600?oC.

Un procédé permet de fabriquer des matériaux composites résistants à l'usure sur un substrat en corps solides métalliques (par exemple de l'acier, de métal dur, de l'aluminium ou du titane). Une composition volatile du métal formant l'alliage à résistance mécanique élevée est convertie dans un récipient (12) par apport d'énergie et déposée sous la forme d'une couche résistante à l'usure sur le substrat. L'apport d'énergie se fait au moins en partie par un procédé plasma CVD. Des compositions contenant de l'oxygène de métaux formateurs de matériaux à résistance mécanique élevée sont particulièrement appropriées, la réaction pouvant se produire à une basse température dans une plage comprise entre la température ambiante et 600oC.
