[origin: WO8607440A1] The disclosed tunnel comprises a tube (1) wherein are piled parts (A) to be cooled, and an intermediate chamber (7) surrounding said tube and a heat exchanger (3) being arranged around the chamber. Liquid nitrogene is vaporized from bottom to top in the exchanger, goes down into the chamber (7) and goes up into the tube (1), the in-supply of liquid nitrogene being controlled by a temperature sensor (17). Application to cold fitting of parts in the mechanical industry.
