[origin: WO8607209A1] An electric cord reel (20) is designed for mounting adjacent the engine of an automobile (10) that requires a plug-in heater (11), in particular, and has a motor (33) which is operable by an electric switch (100) from the automotive battery (110) or other power source, and, drives a drum assembly (51, 53, 60) to retract the cord (15). Upon completion of retraction the switch (100) will shut off the motor (33). The cord (15) can be manually pulled out to be plugged into a power receptacle at a desired location.

Enrouleur de câbles électriques (20) conçu pour être monté près du moteur d'un véhicule automobile (10) qui nécessite notamment un chauffage enfichable (11). Ledit enrouleur comprend un moteur (33) qui peut être actionné par un interrupteur électrique (100) à partir de la batterie (110) du véhicule automobile ou à partir d'une autre source d'alimentation et qui entraîne un treuil (51, 53, 60) afin d'enrouler le câble (15). A la fin de l'enroulement, l'interrupteur (100) arrête le moteur (33). Le câble (15) peut être déroulé manuellement afin d'être enfiché dans une prise de courant à un endroit désiré.
