Abstract (en)
The thatched-roof covering element consists of a multiplicity of synthetic stalks of spiral cross-section arranged approximately in parallel next to and above one another, the stalks being flattened in their upper end region and being connected to one another by thermal welding. Each pair of stalks (21, 22) of the element (1) is formed by bending an individual stalk (2) of appropriate length to form two approximately parallel stalk legs (21 and 22). A multiplicity of pairs of stalks (21, 22) are connected by thermal welding in the region of their bend (23), the stalk parts (24) adjacent to this being flattened. <IMAGE>

Reet-Dacheindeckungselement, das aus einer Vielzahl von etwa parallel neben- und übereinander angeordneten Kunststoffhalmen mit spiralförmigem Querschnitt besteht, wobei die Halme in ihrem oberen Endbereich abgeflacht und miteinander durch thermische Verschweißung verbunden sind, bei welchem je ein Halmpaar (2l, 22) des Elementes (l) durch Knickung eines entsprechend langen Einzelhalmes (2) zu zwei etwa parallel verlaufenden Halmschenkeln (2l und 22) gebildet ist und daß die Verbindung einer Vielzahl von Halmpaaren (2l, 22) durch die thermische Verschweißung im Bereich ihres Knicks (23) unter Abflachung der diesem benachbarten Halmteile (24) erfolgt ist.
