Method for the production of a hair-piece (toupet), in which the support piece (1) consists of a mesh material and the hairs (30) are connected by knots (26) with the threads (24, 25) of the support piece (1), characterized in that for the production a. hairs (30a-e) of real hair or of a plastics material are used a.1 these hairs (30a-e) are of differing length a.2 of differing thickness and a.3 of differing colour (22, 23), b. the real remaining hairs (10) of the wearer are connected by means of loop- or tie- knots (9) or by means of clip-like connecting means with a thread (6) running in the marginal region (2) around the support piece (1), which thread is relieved of tension by loops (7).

Das Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Haarteiles geht von einem Trägerteil (1) aus einer Maschenware aus, auf dem die Haare durch Knoten (26) mit den Fäden (24, 25) des Trägerteils verbunden sind. Zur Annäherung an die natürlichen Verhältnisse im Bereich Echthaar-Kopfhaut ist vorgesehen, daß man zur Herstellung Haare (30 a-e) aus einem Kunststoffmaterial verwendet und diese Haare unterschiedliche Länge, unterschiedliche Dicke und unterschiedliche Färbung aufweisen. Die Verbindung zwischen dem Resthaar (10) des Trägers und dem Randbereich (2) des Trägerteils erfolgt dadurch, daß im Trägerteil ein umlaufender Faden (6) angeordnet ist, der durch Schlaufen (7) zugentlastet ist, wobei die Resthaare über Schling- oder Knüpfknoten (9) mit diesem zugentlasteten Faden verbunden sind.
