Abstract (en)
A bleach catalyst, its incorporation and use in a detergent composition are herein disclosed. The catalyst comprises an aggregate of manganese (II) cation adsorbed onto aluminosilicate particles and a binder to form aggregates of these particles. At least 75% of the aggregates have a diameter size from at least 250 to about 2000 microns. When the catalyst is dispersed in water for 2 minutes at pH 10 and 40 DEG C, less than 5% particles of a diameter 125 microns or higher remain undispersed in water.
